Engineering Operations Technician, RNO101

We are looking for an Engineering Operations Technician to join our team at Amazon. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems that power a new machine learning cluster serving internal engineering teams who train and deploy large-scale models. Your technical judgment will help keep this infrastructure highly available — directly supporting the compute capacity that these teams depend on to meet production deadlines.

You will work with three-phase electrical systems including switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies, power distribution units, and battery systems, along with mechanical systems such as chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and pumps. You will identify equipment deficiencies, complete risk assessments, and improve processes that keep the facility running well. This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with a site that has years of expansion ahead.
