Amazon is seeking a talented and motivated EHS professional with experience in safety and compliance associated with R&D and manufacturing of automation and robotic technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of regulations that govern Environmental, Health and Safety.
The candidate will collaborate with product, manufacturing and deployment teams to develop and execute risk mitigations plans and support the scaling of deployments into production. The position also collaborates with 3P suppliers and general contractors throughout projects to ensure compliance to the appropriate regulations, industry standards and Amazon policies.
Key job responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS standards, procedures, and launch playbooks for Amazon Robotics site activation programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with Amazon safety policies.
Lead on-site safety assessments — evaluating fire protection, building infrastructure, life safety compliance, dock operations, and environmental conditions — and drive corrective actions to closure
