Amazon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager on the outbound (OB) transportation planning team. This role will lead short-term planning and our high-volume event (HVE) planning for Canada (Amazon.ca). This is a highly visible role, who engages with multiple partner teams and provides transportation volume plans and recommendations up to the VP level.
- Key job responsibilities
- -Lead the weekly planning process including input gathering, modeling, and communication of plans to downstream teams
- -Engage with demand planning to understand and align on topline demand and confidence intervals
- -Partner with Middle and Last mile leads to understand changes in each component of the transportation plans
-Connect with external stakeholder teams to evaluate recent trends, or upcoming changes to carrier capacity, coverage, network design, Sort Center capacity, Amazon Air capacity, or Fulfillment Center shipment plans which will impact transportation
