We are looking for a Sr. Analytics Program Manager to be part of Middle Mile supply and routing optimization team.
As part of this team you would work on program management for supply optimization, work with business stakeholders to drive process improvement, generate ideas, and validate entitlement based on true production behavior. You will draw upon advanced analytical, problem solving skills, and passion for delivering business insights and analytics through long form documents to senior leadership.
You will have broad technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement.
You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader, the buck will stop with you - you will work as part of the engineering organization. This role will have high level visibility due to the nature of the analyses being maintained, built, and the network impact of analysis conducted.

Key job responsibilities
Creating and implementing data driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for our customers
Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes
Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future
Provide data management processes such as accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA code, organizing data and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for business performance.
Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.
Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
Building and managing related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
Monitoring existent metrics, building new metrics, and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of data visualization and reports tools experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
5+ years of using SQL to extract and manipulate data experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
