Amazon Leo is launching satellite-based connectivity in 100+ countries. Every country launch requires integration across tax, accounting, disbursement, legal, trade, and core commerce — thousands of test cases, dozens of teams, months of sequential human work.
This team operates in a high-velocity environment, adapting and extending Amazon's established first-mile and middle-mile logistics and accounting infrastructure while engineering new capabilities purpose-built for Leo's commerce platform, which is launching across 100+ countries.
The Inventory Accounting team owns the end-to-end platform responsible for tracking Leo hardware inventory procured by end customers and fulfilled through Amazon's first-mile and middle-mile logistics network, ensuring ledger accuracy and regulatory compliance. The team manages 40+ distinct accounting scenarios per country, encompassing inventory custody transitions across both forward fulfillment and reverse logistics flows.
