Ring's Web Platform team owns the shared web infrastructure that Ring's engineering teams build on. Our mandate is to manage that platform, modernize it, and make it better ,and to do it in a way that makes every team building on top of us faster and more confident in what they ship.
The next chapter for this team is threefold: drive a deliberate modernization of the platform, maintain the reliability and developer experience that consumer teams depend on, and build the Native AI capabilities that will define Ring's next generation of web experiences.
The SDM for this role will also lead the adoption of the a standardized, AI-assisted development workflow that is already showing meaningful results in teams that have adopted it , and scale it as the default way Ring's web engineering org builds software.
