As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-fidelity models of Amazon's LEO satellite constellation and customer terminal algorithms to validate terminal performance globally across residential, aviation, maritime, and automotive applications. You will work in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team, including constellation, RF, antenna, silicon, algorithm, and software engineers.
Your focus will be on architecting, integrating, and verifying core customer terminal algorithms within a simulation framework, encompassing sensor fusion, motion trajectory modeling, and satellite handover evaluation. You will simulate both nominal and off-nominal operating scenarios for mobile user terminals, developing test vectors that stress the system across all application cases and mobility conditions.
