Director, Assistant General Counsel, Corporate – Long Beach, CA or Washington, DC (995-SLS)

Our client, a commercial orbital launch company that is building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs, is seeking to add an exceptional Director, Assistant General Counsel, Corporate to its growing legal team.

This attorney will report to the General Counsel directly, and will lead the company’s corporate legal department. They will work with the Chief Financial Officer, President, Executive Team, and Board of Directors to advise on and support capital markets and financing, corporate governance, securities law, equity, and investor relations.

As the corporate function matures, this role offers meaningful opportunity to participate in and help lead select investor relations initiatives, partnering closely with the CFO and finance team on investor communications and engagement strategy. The role will be responsible for creating a foundation of standards and practices that enable effective and sound scaling of the corporate legal function to support the company’s rapid growth. This is an on-site role based in Long Beach, CA or Washington, DC.
