The Sales Director is responsible for managing all sales associates and the sales efforts of the DFW territory sales department, while managing and growing their own portfolio of accounts. The Sales Director is the primary driver for market strategy, cultivating new business and growing wallet share within the current portfolio. This position requires a true competitor and someone with a proven track record of profitable growth and a sense of urgency.
The Sales Director will work closely with customers and suppliers to become a valued partner in mutually beneficial business.
- Essential Functions: Overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives within the DFW territory
- Manage a designated territory with existing and potential customers
- Contact current and prospective customers to solicit business orders
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through cold calling
