The Systems Security Engineer II supports the AFRL base cybersecurity team across vulnerability management, threat defense, and cybersecurity governance and compliance. This position helps identify and address security vulnerabilities, monitor and protect systems, support compliance activities, and communicate findings and status to the appropriate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support vulnerability management activities, including vulnerability scanning, identification, tracking, mitigation, and remediation.
- Support threat defense activities, including intrusion detection and protection and SIEM log and event correlation.
