Construction Project Coordinator

, an award winning, full service Architectural, Engineering and Construction Management firm with offices in Darien and Chicago, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our fast paced Construction Management team!

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and group management with the following tasks: · Prepare and issue subcontracts
• · Draft Change Orders for execution by subcontractors and PM’s
• · Receive and review Certificates of Insurance for contract compliance
• · Coordinate submittals and closeout documentation with subcontractors.
• · Prepare bid packages and addenda; upload/distribute as required
• · Participate in bid openings as requested and document results
• · Receive and process subcontractor pay applications in coordination with the Accounting group.
• · Assist departmental leadership as requested
• · Other tasks as required

Requirements:

• · 5+ year’s experience as an Administrative or Project Assistant in the construction, engineering or architecture industry.
• · Experience with contracts, change orders, bid packages, insurance and bonds; · Strong knowledge of construction accounting
• · Detail oriented individual with good organizational skills; · Highly self motivated with the ability to work alone or in teams.
• · Excellent oral and written and communication skills; · Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• · Fluency with CMIC a significant plus
