Overview
Within Commercial Cloud & AI Marketing, the Audience & Experiences Marketing team plays a critical cross-company role in empowering every person and organization to achieve more by defining how Microsoft translates strategic audience engagement into scalable marketing motions, including Microsoft's global events portfolio.
The Director, Event Measurement & Analytics leads the measurement strategy for Microsoft’s event portfolio, defining how we evaluate event performance and understand the contribution events make to audience, customer, and business outcomes. Working closely with event leaders, the role establishes a consistent approach to measurement across event types while ensuring individual events are evaluated against their specific objectives and audiences.
The role brings deep events and analytics expertise to continuously advance how Microsoft measures event performance. This includes establishing meaningful benchmarks, strengthening our understanding of event contribution and effectiveness, and ensuring both financial and non-financial outcomes are represented. The leader will bring an outside-in perspective, applying industry practices and emerging approaches to keep Microsoft’s event measurement strategy forward-looking. This is a builder and practitioner role.
