POSITION SUMMARY
Increase sales of meat and cheeses at the deli counter through customer engagement and interaction.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- -Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner to generate brand awareness to increase sales
- -Prepare and demonstrate new and or promoted products to store customers through sample arrangements and by demonstrating recipes using company products
-Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products; use product slicer to fill orders and or provide samples to customers; complete order process for purchases.
-Clean area and equipment as required by supermarket and local health code
-Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed.
- -Notify management in case of an extraordinary issue, including but not limited to, quality failures and overstock
