Job Summary
The Lead Accounting Analyst, Fuel & Settlements Accounting, provides oversight and approval of all settlement activities performed by Duke Energy's managed service provider, EY, ensuring quality, effective controls, and operational execution. The role is responsible for overseeing and approving fuel invoices, margin calls, and other settlement activities, and will also support the Fuel Inventory team through the review of monthly journal entries, reporting, and reconciliations.
