Occupational Therapist - Adults Community

Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 Occupational Therapist for its client's Adults Community Health & Social Care Team in Mid-Devon.

The role involves supporting adults in their own homes and community settings, helping people maximise independence through assessment, equipment, adaptations and reablement.

What will your responsibilities be?

Complete person-centred OT assessments and case management.

Carry out moving and handling assessments.

Assess for equipment and adaptations, including DFGs.

Complete risk, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments.

Support individuals to maximise independence.

Work closely with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies.

Manage a varied caseload and work across community settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have, Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Knowledge of equipment, adaptations and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to travel across the Mid-Devon area.
