Social Worker - Older People & Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker - Older People & Learning Disabilities for its client’s Older People & LD Team based in Sefton. This is a full-time agency role offering £36.79 per hour, focused on delivering high-quality reviews and reassessments as part of a targeted cost-saving project.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

Review complex and high-cost care packages to establish whether the existing level and type of support remain appropriate.

Analyse the relationship between assessed needs, identified risks, desired outcomes and the services being commissioned.

Examine whether the current package is being fully utilised and remains effective.

Consider whether alternative arrangements could meet the person's eligible needs appropriately.

Identify opportunities for more effective or sustainable care arrangements without compromising the person's safety, wellbeing or statutory rights.

Provide evidence-based recommendations regarding continuation, amendment or replacement of care packages.

Qualifications & Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have: Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
