Production Supervisor
OVERVIEW
The Production Supervisor owns daily execution on the manufacturing floor: managing shift operations, leading production teams, hitting output and quality targets, and driving accountability across every build. This role is the frontline leadership backbone of the production organization, connecting Engineering, Quality, and Planning to ensure that Moonshot’s switchboards, control panels, and power distribution equipment are built safely, on time, and to spec.
You’ll run the floor, develop your team, and remove the barriers that slow production down.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shift & Schedule Management: Own daily production scheduling and shift execution. Ensure build priorities are clearly communicated at shift start, manage labor allocation across workstations, and adjust plans in real time as priorities shift.
- Team Leadership & Development: Directly supervise production assemblers and technicians. Own hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and corrective action. Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement on the floor.
