Our Banking, Lending & Trust (BL&T) team delivers sophisticated banking, lending, and trust solutions to successful individuals, families, family offices, and professional practices. As a member of our Legal Specialty Group (LSG), you'll play a key role in supporting some of the nation's most prominent law firms through customized credit strategies and complex financing solutions.
What You'll Do
Underwrite and structure complex commercial credit facilities for law firms and legal industry clients.
Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and borrower performance to assess risk and identify opportunities.
Develop creative, customized credit solutions that support client growth and long-term relationship objectives.
Partner closely with Private Bankers and Regional Directors to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Lead discussions involving credit structures, legal documentation, and transaction negotiations.
Review and negotiate legal documents in collaboration with internal and external counsel.
Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear, concise written and verbal communication.
Manage and monitor an existing portfolio of commercial relationships, identifying emerging risks and recommending solutions.
Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience underwriting commercial relationships within the legal industry.
Formal commercial credit training.
Capital markets knowledge and expertise.
Strong understanding of financial accounting, commercial lending structures, and banking products.
Experience reviewing and negotiating complex loan documentation.
Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple business partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 20%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
