Responsibilities

• Provide marketing support for community-facing events, like town halls, educational open houses, and sustainability roundtables. Create and manage bespoke educational and community marketing programs where appropriate.
• Manage end-to-end logistics for locally focused activities, including handling live event setups, ordering merchandise and managing vendors when needed.
• Refine and deploy mobile demos and educational exhibits at state events to showcase Google’s technology and community contributions. Manage and maintain localized community websites, stories, and newsletters to keep residents updated on regional investments and hiring programs.
• Serve as the lead marketing presence across regional hubs, forging relationships with internal leaders, providing materials online, in person, and at events. Identify, negotiate, and execute community event sponsorships and events.
• Create state and community specific collateral that highlights Google’s approach and contribution in your priority region.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
• Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with marketing collateral, events, or digital assets.
• Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
• Experience working in one or more of the following fields: product, brand, or social marketing.
• Experience partnering with public affairs and government relations teams.
• Experience in hyper-local content strategy and digital channel management.
