The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates environments and experiences that enable culture, innovation, well-being, and productivity. Our mission is to build and maintain the facilities and infrastructure that help Google grow.
From smart structures and central utility plants to sustainable campus setups, our Tech Infrastructure group ensures these spaces function with reliability, efficiency, and safety.
Workspaces rely on sophisticated operational technology (OT) to keep daily campus activity running smoothly. You will serve as the subject-matter expert for IoT, mechanical controls, and network protection throughout the territory.
In this role, you will bridge physical plant engineering with digital architecture. You will collaborate daily with outsourced service providers and specialist vendors to oversee the baseline health, availability, and cyber posture of these workplace technologies. You will be equally comfortable reviewing sequence of operations (SOO) with technicians, auditing architectures against threat baselines, and validating Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for live maintenance.
