This is an established sales organization with unusual team longevity. One Home Buying Specialist has been with Express Homebuyers for 22 years. Two others have been with the company for about five years. People don’t stay that long unless the opportunity, the company, and the people are worth staying for.
The company also invests about $150,000+ per month in marketing and sales support to put real seller opportunities in front of its sales team. An inside sales team qualifies homeowners, builds the initial relationship, and sets the appointment for the seller to meet with you.
You are not here to cold prospect. You are here to convert expensive, qualified homeowner opportunities into the right deal.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:
1. Turn Qualified Homeowner Appointments Into Signed Agreements.
You’ll take ownership when a qualified homeowner is ready to meet. Your job is to build trust quickly, uncover the real situation, handle objections, communicate value, and ask for the business when Express is the right fit. This is relationship-first, high-skill selling. Not order-taking.
2. Learn the Numbers, Negotiate Well, and Win the Deal.
You’ll learn Express Homebuyers’ comparable-sales, deal-evaluation, pricing, offer, negotiation, and contract processes quickly enough to discuss the financial side of the opportunity with confidence.
3. Own the Opportunity Until There Is a Clear Outcome.
You’ll work your active opportunities in Salesforce, follow up by phone, keep next steps clear, do what you say you’re going to do, and stay engaged until there is a yes, no, or clear future follow-up. The company is not looking for someone who closes only when the first conversation is easy. It wants a disciplined professional who stays engaged long-term, competes, and wins.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
Days 1–30: Learn the Process.
Learn the sales process, get great at underwriting potential deals, and become proficient and effective on seller phone calls. This is where you’ll prove that you can internalize the system instead of trying to rewrite it before you understand it.
Days 31–60: Apply It In Real Seller Situations.
Run the numbers, evaluate repairs, handle real homeowner interactions, and meet the company’s quality control standards in call and appointment reviews.
Days 61–90: Win Independently.
Run the process with limited hand-holding and sign highly profitable seller opportunities on your own. You should be demonstrating the judgment, confidence, follow-through, and coachability required to carry the seat long-term.
SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a field sales role. You will work from the office when you are not in the field and drive to in-home seller appointments throughout the DC and Baltimore MSAs.
Full-time W-2; minimum 40 hours per week across five workdays, scheduled around seller opportunities that may occur across any of the seven days
Scheduled weekend/evening coverage and urgent-response availability when seller needs require it

Fast-paced environment with daily team meetings, hands-on coaching, weekly check-ins, and direct accountability
Salesforce CRM and Dialpad phone system provided
Requirements
YOU’LL BE A STRONG FIT IF YOU: Have 3–5 years of successful face-to-face or high-ticket B2C sales experience and can prove measurable success through rankings, production, awards, quota attainment, or similar results
Are competitive and driven, but still team-first
Can connect naturally with very different people, read the room, and stay emotionally steady under pressure
Can ask direct questions, handle objections, negotiate, and confidently ask for the business
Are disciplined about scripts, process, follow-up, CRM notes, and commitments
Are coachable, take ownership when something goes wrong, and apply feedback quickly
Are comfortable driving through the DC and Baltimore markets and working around seller availability
Come from windows, home improvement, automotive, powersports/RV, roofing, solar, HVAC, remodeling, or another competitive in-home/consumer sales environment
Real estate experience is not required. Express Homebuyers would rather teach real estate to an elite salesperson than try to teach elite selling to someone who only knows real estate. Their top sales performer came from Pella window sales.
A high school diploma or GED is required; Spanish is a plus.
YOU WILL NOT THRIVE HERE IF YOU:

Have been an average salesperson and cannot show a track record of measurable success
Need the easiest lead or highest offer to win, then blame the lead, seller, market, pricing, or the team when you don’t win

Refuse to master and follow a proven script and sales process, or get defensive when coached
Do not like being measured by results or having income tied to performance
Need a manager checking on you all day, or want a remote-only Monday-Friday 9-5 desk job
Care more about winning the commission than doing right by the homeowner

If you are good at this job, you should make well into six figures. If you are great, there is significant upside beyond that.
