Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Marketing & Visual Communications Coordinator to support EDETEK’s marketing, visual communications, and business development activities. This role will assist with the development of social media and marketing content, creation and organization of visual assets, coordination of industry events, and collection of industry and competitive information.

Working with subject matter experts and functional leaders, the coordinator will help translate complex clinical and technology concepts into clear, accurate, and visually compelling communications for internal and external audiences.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Execution

Plan, draft, coordinate, and publish targeted organic social media campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, supporting thought leadership, product launches, conferences, publications, and company milestones.

Support for white papers, case studies, brochures, website content, webinar materials, email campaigns, conference messaging, executive thought leadership, and product collateral.

Write engaging, clear copy tailored to life sciences professionals, including clinical development executives, clinical operations, data management, biometrics, statistics/programming, R&D technology, regulatory/quality, and biotech/pharma leadership.

Participate in corporate branding and messaging initiatives such as website updates and press releases.

Visual Asset & Graphics Management

Develop and enhance executive presentations for prospective clients, partners, investors, conferences, webinars, and internal strategic communications.

Design, organize, and maintain a centralized library of infographics, process diagrams, architecture diagrams, workflow visualizations, product illustrations, data visualizations, presentation templates, conference graphics, and digital/social assets.

Work with subject matter experts to translate complex clinical, scientific, and technology concepts into clear visual and written communications while preserving technical accuracy.

Support leadership and product teams by polishing technical charts, data flow diagrams, and software dashboards into presentations that are clear, compelling, polished, and professionally designed, for client pitches, webinars, and publications.

Ensure all corporate assets adhere to EDETEK's brand guidelines and clinical literacy best practices.

Industry & Competitive Analysis

Monitor the clinical trial software landscape, such as competitor profiles, market maps, battlecards, messaging comparisons, product/functionality comparisons, trend briefs, and quarterly landscape updates, to analyze EDETEK's positioning relative to competitors in eClinical systems (EDC, eCOA, IWRS, CTMS, etc.), Bioinformatics and AI-driven trial management, data review, and statistical reporting.

Track industry shifts, regulatory changes, and technical breakthroughs (such as AI/agentic AI, digital protocols and data flow, clinical data standards, eClinical technologies, decentralized/hybrid trials, regulatory technology, data interoperability, and emerging clinical-development operating models) to generate concise messaging and market positioning insights for the sales team and other internal stakeholders.

Industry Event Coordination & Logistics

Assist executive and Business Development staff in planning and coordinating EDETEK’s presence at industry events.

Participate in designing, polishing and maintaining brand messaging content, graphics and displays consistent with EDETEK’s objectives for each event.

Coordinate event logistics and ensure timely delivery of booth materials, digital assets, collateral, equipment, and supporting content.

Support pre- and post-event marketing, including event-specific messaging, social promotion, speaker materials, booth graphics, meeting collateral, post-event follow-up content, and reuse of conference material.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing, design coordination, or market research, with demonstrable results.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and communication channels.
• Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to grammar, clarity, consistency, and tone.
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate content under the guidance of subject matter experts.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather information from stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Ability to receive, interpret, and incorporate feedback from multiple reviewers while maintaining version control and content accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and approval cycles.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential, unpublished, or commercially sensitive information.
• Proficiency with one or more visual design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or comparable tools.
• Proven capabilities using modern generative AI for ideation, research assistance, image concepts, content variants, or presentation support with appropriate review, confidentiality, and brand controls.
• Strong proficiency in building presentation decks (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint / Google Slides).
• Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Strong analytical mindset capable of digesting technical product literature, paired with a creative eye for clean, minimalist design layout.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the clinical research pipeline or eClinical terminology (e.g. GxP, clinical trials, eClinical, CDISC, EDC, eCOA, CTMS, biometrics, and regulatory submissions).
• Education, work or internship experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or B2B SaaS.
• Experience formatting technical diagrams or software UI screenshots into polished commercial graphics.
• Bonus for portfolio submission of past works.
