Registered Veterinary Technician
Toro Park Animal Hospital is a trusted, full-service clinic in the Salinas area, proudly voted “Best Hospital” seven years running. We are currently hiring for a full-time or part-time Vet Technician to join our team of experienced veterinarians and devoted support staff to continue to provide high quality care to our patients. Compensation
Salary:
$28-$32/hr. based on experience and skill set.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri and some Saturdays. 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples
- Administer medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian
