Glimpse of the Job
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will perform independent research activities requiring an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning. This work is predominantly intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent use of discretion and judgment. Additional activities center on supervising junior researchers in laboratory research, and aiding in the preparation of manuscripts and proposals for funding agencies and operation of research equipment.
Work will center on the development of synthetic organic routes for the preparation of conjugated small molecules and oligomers, as well as surface modification and materials characterization.
