Project Control Specialist I at CompTech | LAYIQ

Assist Project and Program Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities.
Track staffing, budgets, priorities, schedules, and other project or personnel-related matters.
Maintain project information and assist with monitoring milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
Prepare and distribute project status reports, updates, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate communication between the client, Project/Program Manager, and internal teams.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including establishing dates and times and communicating meeting information to participants.
Help ensure project activities remain aligned with established schedules and priorities.
Identify and communicate potential timeline, staffing, resource, or budget concerns to the appropriate Project or Program Manager.
Assist with tracking action items and following up with stakeholders as needed.
Maintain organized and accurate project records and documentation.
Support additional project control and program coordination activities as required.
Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience demonstrating proficiency in project coordination, project controls, program support, administrative project support, or a related discipline.
Experience coordinating meetings, schedules, resources, project information, or status reporting.
Ability to track multiple activities, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, team members, and project leadership.
Ability to identify potential scheduling or budget concerns and appropriately elevate them to project leadership.
Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
Certifications: CompTIA Project+ or similar project management/project coordination certification.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret Clearance
