A Role with Purpose and Impact
Dev Technology is supporting the operations, maintenance, and continued enhancement of a mission-essential platform in an environment built primarily on Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform Government, and Azure.
In this role, you will help configure, extend, troubleshoot, and improve Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities that support case and matter management, reporting, dashboards, approval processes, knowledge management, and day-to-day user needs. You will partner closely with the client development and maintenance teams as well as the inhouse Helpdesk and Government users.
This role is designed for a hands-on Microsoft platform specialist who can move comfortably between configuration, development, troubleshooting, customer support, and release planning in a secure federal environment.
Dynamics 365 Delivery and User Support
This role blends Dynamics 365/Power Platform development with configuration and advanced user support. You will:
Configure and extend Dynamics 365 Online and Power Platform capabilities to meet evolving business requirements.
Develop and maintain reports, Advanced Find views, queries, dashboards, approval processes, and knowledge base/customer service portal capabilities.
Configure Dynamics CRM organizations and support release management, deployment, and troubleshooting for release-ready solutions.
Work directly with the client’s
Tasking System users to provide technical assistance
, configuration support, training, and solutions that may not require a formal release.
Partner with development and maintenance teams to identify recurring needs, inform future release features, and translate user issues into practical configuration or development changes.
Apply a user-first approach and sound UI/UX practices when developing or modifying user-facing capabilities, with a focus on usability, consistency, and user adoption.
You will remain close to both the platform and its users—troubleshooting issues, validating changes, supporting testing, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure Dynamics 365 capabilities remain secure, supportable, and aligned with the agency standards.
Who Thrives Here
People who thrive in this role bring strong Microsoft-platform expertise and a practical, customer-focused approach to delivery. They:
Enjoy solving business problems through a mix of configuration and code rather than defaulting to custom development.
Can explain Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities clearly to technical and non-technical users.
Are comfortable investigating production issues, tracing root causes, and working across application, identity, integration, and data dependencies.
Value secure configuration, disciplined release practices, documentation, and repeatable support processes.
Can shift between planned enhancement work and responsive Tier III customer support.
Collaborate well with developers, helpdesk staff, Government stakeholders, and other Microsoft platform teams.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance a mission-critical case management platform used across the client agency. You will influence both day-to-day user experience and the longer-term evolution of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, from rapid configuration changes through formal releases and integrations.
