We are looking for an Application & IT Support Engineer based in New York. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on application support, with opportunities to contribute to development work while supporting the day-to-day technology needs of our New York office. You’ll work closely with end users and our broader technology team to troubleshoot issues, improve systems, and keep our local technology environment running smoothly.

What you'll do: Application Support:

• Own day-to-day application support by investigating issues, troubleshooting errors, managing support requests, and coordinating escalation when needed. Work directly with users to understand problems and identify effective solutions
• Development & System Improvement s: Contribute to application enhancements and bug fixes using Java, write SQL queries to support data and troubleshooting needs, test and debug code, and participate in technical discussions around system improvements and application functionality
• IT & Users Support: Provide L1/L2 technical support for employees across laptops, desktops, printers, operating systems, connectivity, and other workplace technology. Support hardware setup and deployment for new and existing employees
• User & Access Management
• : Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across company applications. Support onboarding and offboarding activities while following company security and access standards
• IT Operations & Documentation: Maintain office technology and equipment inventory, support routine system administration, and keep technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge resources up to date
• What we seek: 1-3 years of experience in application support, technical support, software development, or a related technical role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
• Working knowledge of Java or another object-oriented programming language, with basic to intermediate SQL skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose application and technical issues through resolution
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments and fundamental networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi
• Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach to technical support, with the ability to prioritize across multiple technical needs
• Nice to have: Experience with networking or infrastructure, ticketing/monitoring tools, or scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies
