Portfolio Messaging Strategist

Role Overview

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Portfolio Messaging Strategist to define, govern, and operationalize the executive narrative for Siemens’ industrial agentic orchestration system, Intelligence Center X.

This highly visible role sits at the intersection of Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Corporate Communications

. We are looking for a strategic storyteller who can transform a complex portfolio of technologies into a clear, differentiated, and customer outcome-driven narrative. You will shape how Siemens leadership communicates the value of industrial AI, agentic systems, data and knowledge foundations, intelligent applications, and workflow orchestration across executive presentations, industry and corporate events, analyst engagements, and customer forums.

The ideal candidate is a product marketer with executive communications expertise who can capture product strategy, simplify technical complexity, and architect compelling executive storytelling. Success in this role requires exceptional judgment, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Narrative Strategy & Governance
• Define and continuously evolve the master narrative for Intelligence Center X and the broader portfolio.
• Build narrative frameworks grounded in customer challenges, differentiated product value, market dynamics, and Siemens’ industrial expertise.
• Establish messaging architecture, proof points, terminology, and storytelling standards that connect:
• Corporate vision
• Portfolio positioning
• Product messaging
• Industry use cases
• Customer outcomes
• Ensure narrative consistency across executive and leadership communications.
• Identify messaging gaps, inconsistencies, or competing narratives and drive alignment to maintain a focused, credible, and differentiated market position.
• Executive Storytelling & Communications
• Lead the strategic development of executive keynotes, high-profile presentations, customer events, analyst engagements, and executive communications related to Intelligence Center X and industrial AI.
• Partner with senior executives, product leaders, and subject matter experts to transform complex strategies and technical innovations into compelling, audience-specific stories.
• Define presentation storylines, narrative arcs, supporting proof points, visual direction, customer examples, and calls to action.
• Create scalable executive storytelling processes, including: Briefing frameworks
• Content governance
• Speaker preparation
• Message rehearsals
• Post-event content repurposing
• Customer & Product-Led Narrative Development
• Develop deep expertise in portfolio capabilities, product roadmaps, technical architecture, customer adoption models, competitive positioning, and strategic ecosystems.
• Translate complex concepts such as: Industrial data platforms
• Knowledge graphs
• AI and machine learning lifecycle management
• Low-code development
• Agentic workflows
• Governance frameworks
• Human-AI collaboration into clear customer value propositions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, and Sales teams to connect narrative claims to measurable business outcomes and technical proof.

Qualifications

• Required Experience
• 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Brand Strategy, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Experience within enterprise software, industrial technology, AI, data platforms, automation, cloud technologies, or platform businesses.
• Demonstrated success defining category, platform, or portfolio narratives that improved market understanding, strengthened differentiation, and supported go-to-market execution.
• Extensive experience developing executive keynotes, leadership presentations, and high-visibility communications.
