Senior Construction Project Manager at pmX Group | LAYIQ

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities
Manage project teams, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee project financials, including forecasting, cost control, change management, and reporting
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved
Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues
Review construction documents, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear communication to clients and leadership
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
Coordinate design, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities
Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on project status, budget, schedule, and risks

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
8+ years of construction project management experience, including leadership of large or complex projects
Direct experience managing Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, R&D, or Healthcare construction projects required
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cGMP, laboratory, clean room, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments
Knowledge of Primavera P6, Procore, PM Web, or similar project management platforms
PMP, CCM, PE, or other industry certifications are a plus
