Position Summary...
The Manager, Site Merchandising, leads the design and optimization of site layouts and category displays to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic. About the team:
The Health & Wellness Site Merchandising team designs how customers explore Walmart’s health, wellness, pharmacy, and care offerings on Walmart.com and the app. The team integrates products, services, benefits, and educational content to create seamless, customer-focused experiences. Collaborating across business, merchandising, marketing, product, creative, and medical affairs teams, they develop digital strategies, site experience plans, and campaign activations.
Using data and customer insights, the team enhances discovery, simplifies navigation, and connects customers to Walmart’s broader Health & Wellness ecosystem, aiming to make Walmart a trusted and convenient destination for health and wellness needs.
What you'll do:
Build and optimize site merchandising for assigned departments by designing traffic plans, product layouts, and featured displays.
Drive customer engagement through search result strategies and collaboration with Marketing partners.
Analyze customer behavior and market data to recommend site improvements and category strategies.
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Manage product launches and promotional campaigns, evaluating their effectiveness and providing actionable feedback.
Utilize web analytics and SEO best practices to enhance site structure and content relevance.
Lead and develop team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and use of site tools such as Tempo and Tango.
Strong analytical skills with experience in customer analytics, market research, and data-driven decision making.
Ability to develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly.
Experience managing product launches, promotional campaigns, and site structure optimization using SEO best practices.
Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve business goals.
