What you'll do...
The General Transportation Manager is responsible for leading transportation operations within a Walmart distribution network, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective movement of freight while delivering exceptional service to stores, clubs, customers, and business partners.
This role provides strategic and operational leadership across fleet readiness, transportation planning, asset management, safety, compliance, vendor relationships, and associate development while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The General Transportation Manager partners with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance, leverage data-driven decision making, manage transportation assets, and ensure the successful execution of Walmart's supply chain strategy.
