Role summary:
The Senior Network Engineer will lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of complex network infrastructures to ensure high availability and performance. This role involves monitoring key metrics, resolving network issues, and implementing effective solutions aligned with business objectives. The position requires expertise in network architecture, security, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to develop and execute maintenance plans and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The engineer will collaborate across teams to uphold service level objectives and drive scalable, secure network solutions that meet evolving organizational needs.

Join a cloud-first networking and security team dedicated to designing, building, and managing multi-cloud connectivity across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The team emphasizes a product ownership mindset, focusing on standardization, automation, and continuous platform improvement using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. Collaborating closely with Information Security, Cloud Engineering, and core network teams, the group maintains strong operational discipline.

What you'll do:
Monitor network performance using metrics and KPIs to ensure adherence to defined service level objectives and identify areas for optimization.
Develop and execute network maintenance plans, including updates, expansions, and fault isolation to maintain system reliability.
Analyze business and technical requirements to design and optimize network architectures aligned with organizational needs.
Investigate and resolve complex network issues, collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions and escalate when necessary.
Establish and review network design KPIs and service level agreements to support performance and availability goals.
Guide coding and automation efforts to enhance network scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in network architecture, design, and optimization aligned with business needs and industry standards.
Proficiency in network security principles and implementation to safeguard infrastructure and data.
Strong skills in network troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution following established recovery procedures.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform on multiple cloud platforms.
Expertise in IP address management and network routing protocols to ensure efficient connectivity.
Ability to monitor network performance using metrics such as availability, MTBF, MTTR, and SLIs to maintain service levels.
Experience developing and executing network maintenance plans and change management processes.
Knowledge of risk analysis, requirement scoping, and solution assessment within network projects.
