THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our People Analytics team and help advance a modern HR data platform built on Microsoft Fabric. The platform transforms SuccessFactors and related HR source data into governed workforce data that powers Power BI reporting and a natural-language analytics assistant used by HR business partners.
As the platform’s second engineer and co-owner, you will work closely with the platform architect to extend the transformation layer, strengthen data quality and testing, and help evolve a rapidly built proof of concept into a hardened, well-documented, enterprise-grade system. You will take ownership of meaningful areas of the platform early in your tenure while expanding your expertise across HR data, cloud engineering, analytics, and AI-assisted development.
