Overview
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
This position is an emerging team member on the mortgage lending team. This role partners with a mortgage banker in facilitating mortgage loan transactions for our private bank clients. Utilizing direct client contact, this role ensures all information is gathered from the client and provided to other internal teams (underwriting, mortgage operations or middle office), and acts as a liaison between internal teams and the client to provide the smoothest possible client experience for the mortgage transaction.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Duties & Responsibilities: Application Submission - Partners with mortgage bankers in submitting clear, complete, and timely applications to the mortgage operations team for initial disclosures and processing. Follows up with clients for required documents needed for underwriting, reviewing all documents received to determine if financial package is sufficient for underwriting review, and self-reliantly decides when loans are ready to submit to underwriting team as financial packages are completed.
