Website: https://www.brookeglenhospital.com/ Position Summary The Assistant Assessment and Referral Director is the primary assessor for evening shift and is responsible for assisting the Director in overseeing the functioning of the Assessment and Referral Psychiatric Assessment Team, and Admissions function, in accordance with current standards of mental health practice. Collects data from Inquiry Calls, assessments, etc.

and inputs into Health Management system in a timely manner, and assists in coordination of admissions with Director of Assessment and Referral. Responsibilities Directs the response to requests for services by phone and in person, including the initial response, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care, initiation/admission into services, and appropriate follow up activity. Completes a patient interview according to policy. Document patient information.
