The brainchild of David Ricks, CEO of Lilly, and incubated by Boston Consulting Group’s Digital Ventures, PrescriberPoint is a Series A healthtech whose mission is to help Health Care Professionals reduce the time, tension, and anxieties they and their patients encounter during the prescribing process.

We are funded to date by Lilly, Pfizer, Adobe, and MasterCard. We offer an end-to-end, AI-centric solution that starts with medical knowledge (35k drug micro-sites) and related tools, including coverage look ups and samples, and finishes with an intake pharmacy and prior authorizations insider EMRs.

Role Summary

The Director of Corporate Marketing owns PrescriberPoint’s brand, voice, and external presence as a company. This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and works closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure brand standards are upheld across the organization, and partners with HR on communications and marketing needs.

This is a builder role: the function is new at the Director level, so the person in this seat will partner closely with the VP of Marketing on brand strategy while rolling up their sleeves to lead execution day-to-day — working with a small team to make a big impact on how PrescriberPoint shows up in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Own PrescriberPoint’s brand reputation and brand awareness, leading execution and day-to-day stewardship of the corporate brand — positioning, voice, and visual identity — across all external touchpoints, partnering with the VP of Marketing on overall brand strategy and direction.
• Develop messaging architecture and audience personas for our key external stakeholders (media, investors, partners, prospective employees) and ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across channels.
• Lead external communications and public relations, including media relationships, press releases, and reactive/proactive PR strategy.
• Develop executive visibility and thought leadership — speaking opportunities, bylines, panels, and industry commentary for company leadership.
• Manage corporate website pages, sales collateral, investor- and partner-facing materials, and company narrative assets.
• Set content strategy and standards for corporate marketing — establishing systems and best practices for how corporate content is created, distributed, and maintained.
• Manage external partners, including scope, deliverables, and budget oversight.
• Plan and execute industry events, conference presence, and sponsorships that build company (not brand-specific) visibility.
• Own employer brand and internal communications support — culture content and marketing support for recruiting, partnering with HR on communications and marketing needs.
• Partner closely with Marketing to ensure a consistent company voice without duplicating brand- or client-specific work.
• Define KPIs and reporting for corporate marketing (share of voice, press coverage, brand awareness, website/organic performance) and report progress to the VP of Marketing.
• Build and manage the corporate marketing team and budget as the function grows.

A repeatable operating rhythm exists for PR, content, and events, with measurable growth in brand awareness and inbound interest.

Brand and communications metrics are connected to business outcomes — inbound pipeline, partner and investor interest, and recruiting quality — not just awareness for its own sake.

Qualifications

• Required: 15+ years in marketing, communications, or brand roles, including 5+ years leading a corporate marketing, communications, or brand function.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (an advanced degree is not required but it never hurts).
• Proven experience in corporate brand building and brand management — developing brand strategy and architecture from the ground up, and stewarding brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity across teams and channels over time.
• Track record building or scaling a corporate brand and PR function, ideally at a B2B or healthcare/health-tech company.
• Experience managing external partners.
• Strong external communications skills — comfortable as a company spokesperson-adjacent partner to executives.
• Experience operating alongside product marketing and/or client-facing marketing teams, with a clear sense of where corporate marketing’s lane starts and stops.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with employer branding and internal communications.
