A Printpack Converting Medical Technician I assures that Printpack’s products are produced in specification and meet customer requirements. They conduct various tests and AQL inspections on finished products in steady-state conditions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Execute quality assurance sampling and testing in accordance with internal standards and customer specifications.
Use a variety of lab and testing equipment, including:
- Burst and Creep Tester
- Tensile testers for material strength
- Seal integrity testing by dye solution and water immersion
- Bag dimension measurement by calibrated ruler
- Conduct visual inspections on all representative samples from products produced across multiple production lines/processes.
- Exhibit proficiency in the utilization of measurement instruments in both US customary and metric systems.
- Uphold and contribute to the department's 5S standards, including housekeeping practices and efficient inventory management of supplies.
