Overview
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment free of hazards for Covenant HealthCare patients, guests, partners, buildings and grounds.
Security Officer demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.
Responsibilities
- Assures the physical safety of patients, guests and partners on the premises according to established safety guidelines.
- Monitors and assists with safety and security programs adherent regulatory requirements (Fire drills, Safety and Hazard Inspections, Fire Extinguisher inspections, Emergency Preparedness exercises, Panic alarm inspections) as assigned.
- Investigate incidents involving security of the facilities using good oral, written and observation skills.
- Provide motorists with assistance following established guidelines.
