To coordinate the activities of the anesthesia department. To ensure communication between members of the anesthesia department, GI suite, L&D, OR, PACU. To ensure that all needed supplies and equipment is available and in good working order. To coordinate educational experiences for the RT and EMT students. Lead with Purpose.
Join Mercy Hospital Washington as a Lead Anesthesia Technician and help support safe, efficient patient care across the OR, GI Suite, Labor & Delivery, and PACU.
What You'll Do
- ✅ Coordinate daily anesthesia department operations
- ✅ Ensure anesthesia equipment and supplies are ready and functioning properly
- ✅ Support physicians, CRNAs, and surgical teams
- ✅ Assist with equipment purchasing, inventory, and budgeting
- ✅ Coordinate RT and Paramedic student rotations
- ✅ Partner with leaders to support growth and new programs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Anesthesia Technician experience or demonstrated competency
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, airway devices, and supplies
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support multiple procedural areas
