Job Summary
The Instructional Design Specialist (IDS) is responsible for the assessment, analysis, design, development, deployment, evaluation and maintenance of all e-learning programming. Designs engaging and interactive learning activities that include sound instructional design methodology. Partners with the Learning Management System (LMS) administer and develops and maintains the department web page.
Works collaboratively with the Nurses in Professional Development, Educators, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and organizational leaders with the goal of providing online educational programming that meets the strategic goals of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Require Bachelor degree in instructional design or related field.
- Require two (2) years of experience in education and instructional design, with an emphasis on the development of e-Learning programs. Health care focus is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer knowledge of adult learning principles, particularly as it relates to online learners.
