Job Description
The Role
At GM, Engineering Product Development supports the design and release of vehicle systems, components, and parts from concept through production. The work includes developing and maintaining vehicle engineering bills of material (BOMs), managing part definitions and attributes, coordinating design changes and release activities, ensuring product data is accurate and traceable, and partnering with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and other functions to support vehicle programs.
This organization helps ensure vehicle content is well-defined, integrated, and ready for manufacturing, service, and ongoing product updates.
The Product Development PLM IT Organization that supports Engineering Product Development is seeking a Sr. Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary liaison between Engineering business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. As part of a major transformation to consolidate legacy systems into Siemens Teamcenter, this role will capture and translate business requirements into scalable product structure, vehicle engineering BOM, and part management solutions.
