Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
Operate CNC Machines and Horizontal Milling Machines. This includes making programs, using 2D and 3D, all accurately and efficiently.
Operate a variety of small machines, tools, and equipment.
Carry out quality checks on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.
Provide continuous guidance to Tool & Die Associates as assigned.
Abide by all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
Maintain stock of all machine cutters and carbide inserts.
Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices.
Perform other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year experience and/or training; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
Familiar with Fanuc and Fidia controls and run 3 and 5-axis machines.
Preferred CAD experience.
Must be able to read/interpret blueprints accurately
