Senior Electrical Engineer at Whoop | LAYIQ

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of electrical hardware designs from concept through prototype, validation, and production
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals across analog and digital circuit design, power architecture and power management, component selection, communication interfaces, and debugging of complex electrical systems
Demonstrated experience designing highly integrated electronics, including schematic capture, PCB design and layout review, and making component- and subsystem-level design tradeoffs
Experience with ECAD tools such as Altium or equivalent tools
Strong hands-on hardware development skills, including prototype bring-up, circuit characterization, debugging, and use of electrical test and measurement equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently drive ambiguous technical problems and communicate design decisions effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
