Global Supply Manager (Electrical Components) at Whoop | LAYIQ

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in global supply management, strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier management, or a related function within a hardware or electronics environment, with experience supporting NPI and high-volume production.
Experience sourcing electrical components or assemblies, with an understanding of markets and cost structures across technologies such as semiconductors, sensors, batteries, PCBAs, displays, or connectors; consumer electronics experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commodity or category strategies spanning supplier selection, cost roadmaps, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply risk mitigation.
Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex cost structures, supplier capabilities, capacity constraints, and supply chain tradeoffs while balancing technical and business objectives.
Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners and the ability to influence technical and business decisions through data, subject matter expertise, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15%, to support supplier engagement, manufacturing readiness, negotiations, and business reviews.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and move effectively between long-term strategy and immediate execution priorities.
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
