QMHP - Intake Specialist (Part-Time)

Additional Information About the Role

Shift Details:

• This is 30 hours/weekday shift, (0930-1930),  plus every third weekend.  This shift has Holiday rotation and on call requirements
• Must have either an RN, LPC, or LCSW licensure or Provisional PLPC or LMSW
• (RNs must have mental health experience to be considered)

Looking for candidates that live in the Missouri or Illinois area.

• It is a virtual, work from home position, after in-person training at Christian Hospital for 4 weeks
• Patients: You will perform crisis evaluations across 13 BJC facilities virtually with behavioral health and substance use patients and clients
• Ideal Skill Set:  Strong communication skills, technology skills, critical thinking skills, ability to handle multiple tasks

Job responsibilities:

Perform crisis evaluations for behavioral health patients in the Emergency Departments and behavioral health/substance use patients in inpatient units across BJC.  Provide necessary and appropriate resources, complete safety plans, talk with friends/family of patients for collateral information, complete affidavits, if necessary,  collaborate with physicians, social workers, nurses, psychiatrists.  Attend/attest to mandatory meetings and trainings.
