Associate Vice President, Market & Client Research at Vizient | LAYIQ

Relevant degree preferred; Master’s Degree preferred.
10 or more years relevant experience required.
Broad and deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry and its stakeholders, including provider and payer dynamics, reimbursement and policy, life sciences, workforce, care delivery, technology, market structure, healthcare economics, and client needs; demonstrated ability to connect these signals into a coherent market perspective.
Significant experience leading and directly delivering primary and secondary market research, healthcare industry research, including authoring or substantially contributing to enterprise-level market perspectives, Environmental Assessments, strategic briefs, or comparable deliverables.
Advanced knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, including research design, sampling, interviews, surveys, segmentation, regression or other multivariate methods, and working knowledge of databases and data structures.
Demonstrated ability to translate strategic questions into researchable questions and carry research from methodology selection through evidence evaluation, synthesis, and delivery, while identifying bias, confounding, limitations, and data-quality issues.
Ability to synthesize diverse internal and external analyses, client signals, and research findings into clear implications for enterprise and business-unit strategy, solution development, planning, investment, and integrated opportunity assessments.
Desire to operate as a hands-on player-coach who personally delivers high-priority research, builds team capability, manages capacity, establishes trust with leaders, and facilitates evidence-based decisions.
Experience using AI-enabled research tools and workflows to improve environmental scanning, secondary research, evidence synthesis, knowledge management, and deliverable development, with the judgment to validate and audit AI-generated sources, methods, analyses, calculations, and conclusions.
Advanced written, verbal, facilitation, and executive-presentation skills, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
