Intake Coordinator (Night Shift, 7pm -7am)

Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is currently recruiting for a full-time Intake Intake Coordinator for the night shift, 7pm - 7am, alternating weekends and 3 days per week.

Guides patient and families through the registration and admission process.

Referral Processing Answer and document incoming phone calls and patient walk-ins.

Communication: Communicates with unit staff, manages bed board and escort patients to the unit.

Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage, and eligibility.

Data Entry: Enter accurate patient demographics, generate patient labels and review and ensures patients consents forms are completed accurately.

Property: Manages patient property and ensures no contraband is sent to the unit.

Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state regulations

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
