Epic Radiant Team Lead

A large academic health system is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Team Lead to oversee a team of six while remaining hands-on with Radiant build and configuration. The role will be approximately 50% team leadership and 50% hands-on technical/build work.

• Location: Remote – Must work PST hours
• Duration: 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated through 12/31/2027
• Pay Rate: $90/hour on W2
• Travel: Minimal; approximately 1–2 trips per year for up to one week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of six.
• Manage team priorities, workload, escalations, and deliverables.
• Spend approximately 50% of the role performing hands-on Radiant build, configuration, and technical support.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex Radiant build and workflow issues.
• Support ongoing Radiant projects, optimization, testing, upgrades, and production needs.
• Partner closely with Radiology, clinical stakeholders, IT leadership, and other application teams.
• Support the broader Cupid rollout where Radiant and Cupid workflows intersect, as needed.
• Ensure strong communication and coordination across the team and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Required Skills & Experience
• Current, active Epic Radiant certification required.
• 5+ years of hands-on Epic Radiant experience.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong hands-on Radiant build, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization experience.
• Ability to effectively balance team leadership with hands-on technical work.
• Experience supporting a large, complex health system or academic medical center strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work PST hours.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Skills & Experience
• Current Epic Cupid certification.
• Hands-on Cupid experience, particularly with workflows that intersect with Radiant.
• Experience supporting a large-scale or multi-hospital Cupid rollout.
