NewsNation Segment Producer, PRIME (Chicago)
NewsNation is looking for a Segment Producer to work on the network’s flagship weekend primetime newscast.
The Segment Producer role works with show producers to write guest segments, including script writing, visual element gathering, and graphics requests. The Segment Producer also pitches story and guest ideas as a key part of their role.
NewsNation Prime focuses on news of the day, breaking news, and long-form investigations, deep dives, and in-depth conversations with leaders and lawmakers. NewsNation Prime also focuses on Pulse of America bookings, speaking with real Americans from across the country about what they are seeing and facing, shining a spotlight on the under-told stories across the country. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, be effective communicators, be detail-oriented, be solid broadcast writers, and work well under deadline
