Sales Development Representative

About the Role

As the first voice prospects hear, you'll sit at the front of the revenue engine for a fast-moving advertising technology startup. You'll call inbound signups quickly, qualify them, and book demos with the sales team, making your conversations a direct driver of growth and go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Do

• Call every inbound signup who leaves a phone number but hasn't booked a demo, prioritizing speed and responsiveness.
• Qualify prospects quickly by assessing their spend, current setup, and overall fit.
• Book qualified demos onto the sales team's calendar.
• Run multi-touch outreach across phone, email, and SMS for prospects who don't connect on the first attempt.
• Keep the CRM clean by logging every call and recording every outcome so no lead falls through the cracks.
• Identify and report patterns around common objections, drop-off reasons, and which signup sources actually convert.
• Share insights from prospect conversations directly with sales and leadership to sharpen positioning.

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 3 years in a phone-heavy role such as SDR, BDR, inside sales, or recruiting; strong early-career candidates with clear drive will also be considered.
• Genuine comfort with high call volume where outbound activity energizes you and rejection doesn't knock you off stride.
• Fast, clear, and warm communication from the very first seconds of a call.
• Experience using a CRM to log calls, track outcomes, manage pipelines, and maintain data hygiene.
• Ability to manage a lead queue and prioritize outreach without letting prospects go cold.
• Experience qualifying prospects through multi-touch outreach and booking demos or meetings.
• Curiosity about performance marketing, DTC business models, e-commerce operations, or paid social advertising.
• Experience selling into or prospecting DTC or e-commerce brands is a plus.
• Background at an early-stage or high-growth company with flat hierarchies is a plus.

Base salary:

$60,000 to $80,000 annually, plus uncapped commission on demos booked and deals closed.
